Xantaro, Europe’s leading solution provider for building and operating high-performance computer networks, and etalytics, the Darmstadt/Germany-based software start-up for intelligent energy-saving solutions in data centers and production facilities, have signed an exclusive sales partnership for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

As a sales partner, Xantaro UK will primarily target operators of data centers as well as companies with central cooling or heating supply systems whose annual energy costs exceed £90,000 and £280,000 respectively. Initial projects at such companies have shown that the use of etalytics software has reduced energy costs by up to 45%.

Xantaro has been successfully designing, implementing and operating high-performance computer networks for international telecommunications providers, service providers as well as large and medium-sized companies with an international focus for 15 years.

Gerold Arheilger, CEO Xantaro Group: “Data centers and production plants have a considerable energy demand. In view of the climate debate, all companies are looking for ways to reduce their energy consumption. Due to the recent price increases for electricity and gas, the interest in saving possibilities has increased significantly once again. etalytics’ solutions are extremely promising and open up unexpected savings potential for data centers and energy-intensive companies.”

The start-up etalytics was founded in 2020 and emerged from the research group “ETA | Energy Technologies and Applications in Production” at the Technical University of Darmstadt. etalytics has already received numerous prizes and awards for its innovative software solutions for saving energy, including the “Climate Protection Ideas Competition 2019” of the Energy Department of the City of Frankfurt, the start-up competition “Digital Innovations” of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, the special prize “Digitalization in Production”, the Hessian State Prize for Energy, and most recently the Start-up Prize of the German Datacenter Association (GDA).

Dr.-Ing. Niklas Panten, CEO & Co-Founder of etalytics: “Worldwide, the demand for electricity by data centers is increasing in the course of digitalization, while the indispensable path to a climate-neutral economy must also be taken here. As a deep tech startup, we support our customers in this goal with the solution modules of the etaONE platform for data and AI-supported analysis and optimization of increasingly complex energy systems, such as the cooling systems in data centers. In pilot projects, we have been able to demonstrably reduce energy demand by up to 45%. We are now pleased to have Xantaro as an experienced and at the same time knowledgeable sales partner who has successfully supported numerous companies with energy-intensive data centers and production facilities for years.”
