Xantaro Deutschland, the NVL Group with shipyard locations in both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea and the Universities of Augsburg and Emden/Leer are jointly running the research project “Middleware für automatisierte Verwendung von Edge-Ressourcen in Campus-Netzwerken” of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The aim is the application-oriented development of management software for 5G technology in enterprise campus networks.
Triopt and Xantaro will jointly address the implementation of needs-based 5G campus solutions as strategic partners in the future. The focus is on use cases for medium-sized and large companies in various sectors that want to further automate existing processes and optimize the control and monitoring of their infrastructure.
Xantaro is supporting broadband provider Brsk Limited in its FTTH rollout across the UK. Currently, Brsk is rolling out its gigabit fibre network based on technologies from Nokia and Juniper Networks to tens of thousands of homes in the West Yorkshire region.
Xantaro and Nokia are supporting Exascale in its FTTH project in Telford & Wrekin. Exascale has set itself the goal of providing households and businesses in the region around its headquarters in Telford with high-performance fibre connections.
