DENOG10 on the 21st and 22nd of November in the darmstadtium
For the 10th time, the community of the “German Network Operators Group” (DENOG) meets for the annual technical forum. The goal is the discussion and the exchange on network-specific topics with like-minded people – who research, operate and develop the Internet in Germany.
Once again, Xantaro is actively shaping the program: Solutions Architect Tobias Heister will be presenting Xantaro’s solution for “Traffic Engineering SR / Spring Networks Using Open Source Tools” as part of the two-day agenda of the DENOG10 meeting. Building on Xantaro’s presentation at DENOG8, which addressed the building blocks of segment routing as a new MPLS signaling protocol, this time it’s about our specially developed scalable SR controller. Using a combination of various open-source tools, it enables the provisioning of SR-TE paths directly from the browser; the demo setup demonstrates functionality in a multi-vendor test environment based on Arista Networks and Juniper Networks systems.
