London Calling: Xantaro expands to the British Isles
Xantaro celebrated the incorporation of its new subsidiary Xantaro UK Ltd on 15 September 2011. The opening ceremony took place in the premises of the British German Association located in the embassy quarter – in close vicinity to Buckingham Palace. During the ceremony, attending partners and customers discussed the technological challenges of the future such as cloud computing and the continuously increasing volume of data.
The presence of several network specialists, for example Dr. John Paul Hemingway, chief technologist EMEA with Ciena, and Dr. Julian Lucek, distinguished systems engineer with Juniper Networks, underlines the credibility of Xantaro, that is the consistent focus on providing independent consulting services. Even Andy von Bechtolsheim, veteran of Silicon Valley and co-founder of Sun Microsystems, honored the ceremony by his presence. As co-founder and chief development officer, he is currently responsible for product development of Arista Networks.
Moving forward Ingo Kierse, founding member of Xantaro, will be responsible for the UK market in his capacity as managing director. The London branch office will be a further step on the road to becoming a true European integration partner for telecommunications network operators, service providers, and large enterprises. Xantaro has already established a subsidiary in the Netherlands, with its seat located in Amsterdam.
